Mpumalanga is a picturesque scenic splendour of wilderness full of caves, canyons, waterfalls, and of course home to the Kruger
National Park. Although the Kruger Park and the Blyde River Canyon are Mpumalanga's biggest draw cards, be sure not to miss the
Lowveld Botanic Gardens in Nelspruit, and the 70m Lone Creek Falls, just outside Sabie. The Sudwala Caves and Echo Caves are also
major tourist attractions in Mpumalanga. Blyde River Canyon
The Blyde River Canyon is a 700m sheer cliff, separating the highveld from the treed lowveld below. The canyon can be best viewed from
the lookout point called God's Window. Other prominent features are the Three Rondavels, and the Pinnacle. Within the canyon itself,
white-water rafting is a favourite for adrenalin junkies. The curious Bourke's Luck Potholes are well worth exploring for those going
down into the canyon. Kruger National Park
The lowveld region of Mpumalanga is dominated by the Kruger National Park - home to thousands of large game, including the Big
Five, and hundreds of species other mammals, birds, and reptiles. Game drives through Kruger Park can be done either in ones own
vehicle, or with a professional safari guide. Surrounding the park our dozens of luxury private game reserves. Sudwala Caves
The Sudwala Caves , not far from Nelspruit, are considered to be the oldest known caves
in the world. They are located in the Drakensberg escarpment. The legendary Kruger Millions are rumoured to be hidden deep inside
these caves. The caves are quite spectacular in both their size and history. The more adventurous may choose to do the 2 km Crystal
