SS Kadie: less than 5 km
The SS Kadie ran aground off the coast of Witsand in 1865. Ruins of the shipwreck remain on the coast of St. Sebastian Bay near the Breede River Estuary.
Witsand Baby Whale Festival: less than 5 km
Every year in late September the Witsand Baby Whale Festival celebrates the return of the Southern Right Whale to their calving grounds in St. Sebastian Bay.
