Tourist Attractions in Kidds Beach, Amatola & Stormberg, Eastern Cape

Kidd's Beach is a beautiful, little coastal village just 25km outside of East London, with white, sandy beaches, and some wonderful waves for surfers. There is also a tidal pool and rock pools which makes swimming for kiddies that much more enjoyable.

The town is nestled between the Kidd's Beach Nature Reserve to the south and the East London Coast Nature Reserves to the north.

Kidd's Beach lies on the Mcantsi River, which ends in a lagoon at the beach, very popular with anglers. The stunning stretches of sand at Kidd's beach provide the perfect backdrop for snorkeling, sunbathing, boogie boarding and surf fishing.

Whales have been spotted on this part of the sunshine coast, particularly from May through August and the annual sardine run in June/July brings scores of dolphins into the area, as well as the game fish and sharks that follow.
